Shot about a month ago, late night ferry crossing on the Lahave River.
For some reason, the clock in the 'cockpit' (what is that captain's 'perch' called, anyway?) caught my eye. I wonder why there are red wedges on the quarter hour, but not on the hour/half hour?
Oh well, there have to be some mysteries in life, right?

It's probably a tidal clock - High tide's at the 12 o'clock position, low's at 6, and the quarter marks are usually half tide.
The ferry leaves on the quarter and three quarter hour from the Lunenburg side. That likely is why there are marks on the clock. The tide does not matter much to a cable ferry on a river.
