What's on this weekend? Breakfasts! Oktoberfest events in New Ross!

A surprisingly small number of events to choose from this weekend...if you aren't at work on Monday, it might be worth the drive to The Forties for that Thanksgiving dinner, I want to check out that Oktoberfest harvest sale!

Breakfasts

7- 11 a.m.
Homemade baked beans, eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, toast, tea, coffee, juice.
Price $6, children $3.

7:30- 11:30 a.m.
Adults $7, children (6-12) $3.50, children 5 and under free


Community Events

October 10,
Oktoberfest Harvest Sale,
Forties community centre, 1787 Forties Road, New Ross.
9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Homemade pickles, Annapolis Valley apples, fresh vegetables, Krispi Kraut sauerkraut and delicious country baked goods will be available from different vendors.

A new addition to the many items available is local "Home Farm" sausages in gourmet flavours.

Step back in time and enjoy a free sample of head cheese made from a time-honoured, Lunenburg County recipe. Call 689-2612 for information.
