What's on this weekend? Scarecrows! Pumpkins! Turkey!

Wow, lots to choose from this weekend. Scarecrow fest in Mahone Bay, riverfront celebrations in Bridgewater, breakfast and pumpkin fest in Vogler's Cove and a couple turkey suppers in the mix, yum! I might have to attend the one in First South, soooo good....

King Street, Bridgewater riverfront development celebration.
9:30 - 2
The event is free and will feature the enhanced park and interpretive panels.
Official opening at 10,
Live musical entertainment throughout the day.
The Bridgewater Farmer’s Market will be in progress and there will be lots of activities for the whole family, including buskers and demonstrations of cheerleading, gymnastics, and kick-boxing. Local service groups will be on-hand with BBQ fundraisers and there will be prizes. Visit for additional details.

Pumpkin Fest,
Voglers Cove Hall.
Ham and egg breakfast, 8-10 a.m.
Adults $5; 5-12 $3; under 5 free.
Followed by Pumpkin weigh-off, activities, games, canteen, etc., at the grounds.
Proceeds for hall.
