Stormy skies and seas were in attendance that day.
Another shot from the back side of Crescent Beach, taken Sunday evening.
Sunset, back side of Crescent Beach. I like the shadows that were developing on the rocks in the foreground.

Nice evening light hitting the hill at Hirtle's, can't get enough of those clouds!
I love the way the cloud lines and yellow lines on the road trick your brain in this shot. ^_^
The hill behind (in front?) of the house catches a neat wedge of sunlight as the sun sets. I just have to remember to get outside and snap pics of it more often!
Another shot from the afternoon of Sept. 4th.I love the froth on the water in the foreground.

So frustrating to watch these bigguns roll in from shore...and me without a jet ski!I tried auto white balancing this shot in Gimp, which is why it's not as dark as the two previous shots.
Another shot from Sept. 4th, hours after the eye of the storm had passed over the South Shore.
Saturday afternoon, hours after the eye of Earl passed over the South Shore.
More shots to follow in the days to come!
...gets the nice dawn shot.

I wish I had shot this a little earlier, to get the nice line of the road going up the hill in the distance, but I like the reflection of the sail in the water. The owner of this boat took my father, uncle and myself out for an evening cruise on his catamaran. What a great way to end my uncle's last day in Nova Scotia!
The Zipper always seems to be the ride that has a carnie kicking at cotter pins to hold it together...oh, and did I mention the spinning cages? I'll take 'no' for $1000, Alex!
I wish I had taken some long exposure shots of the sparks on the ceiling of this bumper car ride, oh well, the sign will have to suffice. Enjoy!
Hmm, this could be a guidance counsellor poster...we would have also accepted titles like "Just hangin' out..."
...with the face!
I can hook you up with a sweet stuffed toy ovah here
