Note to self....do more redundant backups

Well folks, I've learned the hard way...back up your work, and back it up frequently.

My hard drive just died and I lost the last 2 weeks of my photographs. So, enjoy the pictures on my blog from the last couple weeks they are all that remain of my recent works.....
Now, gotta go home and start burning off the copies of my pictures I still have!

Here's another skating shot that I salvaged from the 'sent items' in Outlook. Good thing I emailed it to a friend!

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until no longer pink in the middle. Serve with your favorite sauce. Serves 4

Nice sunrise!

Every now and then I see this vertical sunbeam on the way in to work....finally stopped and took a picture. Too bad it wasn't on a section of road with now power lines in view, oh well.

Luckily I tried adjusting the EV compensation to make it darker, slowly learning!

Oh, crap...

You guys were supposed to tell me it was the apocalypse today!

Awesome sunrise last week during the 'deep freeze'...

As you can see, I like it cold...

Well, maybe 'like' isn't the best word to use....

I keep the house cold, to save on oil costs. No sense keeping a drafty old farm house 'hot' at night, right?

You can tell it's old...no celsius on this baby!

Party Wave!

Christmas Day surfing, chilly offshore breeze...apparently the waves were "way better" earlier in the day. Typical.

Here's the beginning of a classic 'party wave'!
