School of the bigger hammer

I love it when sometimes, all that's needed to get the job done...is a bigger hammer. This guy could use Billy Llewellyn's 10 lb. maul, named Merle. Shot in Lunenburg Feb. 24th.

Now that's my kind of lawn!

I love all the crocuses and daffodils popping up in lawns around the county. Less grass, more perennials..I like it!

Boys and their toys

South Shore Ready Mix was on site at Bluenose Academy this week, along with an interesting concrete pumper truck.

A crew of 'placers' was on the top floor moving the concrete around...I'm assuming a crew of 'finishers' will follow them shortly. Concrete is an interesting business.
