Several festivals on this weekend, if you are anywhere in the Bridgewater to Chester area, there's something happening this weekend. ^_^

For those who have been searching for the date of the upcoming Conquerall Bank planked halibut supper, it's next Sunday (Aug. 25th).

The light and shadows were sweet that night...until the po-po showed up and cracked down on the skaters for not wearing helmets...oh well, live and learn, I guess...

I wish someone could explain the 'civic gangs' in this county...I'm assuming VOC stands for "Village of Chester".

Other local groups include "the LBC", aka Lunenburg County (?) and "the TOB" aka Town of Bridgewater.

Really? That's the best you could do? C'mon kids, thug it up, yo! (0_o)

This skate park is my new favourite spot for taking action shots...now they need a shuttle bus to ferry kids from Bridgewater and surrounding areas to this awesome park!

I still have a lot to learn about composing the shots...I think I zoomed in too far for most of them, here are some of my faves of the shots I took on Saturday:




Before I knew it, this kid did a flip as he exited the bowl!!! I like how you can see his shadow in the background...


This one shows how close his head comes to the unforgiving concrete....
