Somewhere between Glasgow & Edinburgh

I wish I knew exactly where this farm was located...best guess it is closer to Glasgow than it is to Edinburgh.

I shot this through the window of our train as we hurtled down the tracks toward Edinburgh.  As you can see, this day was a wee bit 'o' all right.

Valley Industry

Stumbled upon this cool scene of agri-business in the Annapolis Valley a couple weekends ago.  


All the shots we took that afternoon look somewhat epic, thanks to those ominous clouds.  Luckily, it never did start raining....

No, not like those annoying "first!" threads on public forums....first cut of hay!

This farmer in Northwest cut this hay earlier this weekend. From what I've seen around the area, this is the only early hay cutting action. Perfect drying weather, good timing!

Sheesh, this temp. is 'balmy' in comparison....

...it was -20 when I woke up this morning, brrrr......

Xmas break..

I'll be on hiatus over the holidays. Before I leave, I give you a picture of a cute kid:
