What's on this weekend? ERRYDING!!!!!

Holy smokes, what a weekend!!!  It seems like every community has something on.  Careful planning could allow for a weekend of meals and no dishes. ^_^

I'm hoping to check out the 30th Annual Heritage Blueberry Supper.  I need some sauerkraut salad in my belly!

If you get a chance, take a drive to a beach and stick your toes in the water.  The ocean temps this week have been cool, but pleasant (~18 C), hopefully this warm water trend continues into September, but you never know.....

Get out there and have a great weekend everyone!

What's on this weekend? Mackerel Snappin'! Horse & ox pull! Variety Supper! Strawberries!

I hope you can get out and enjoy some of the classic Lun. County events on offer this weekend.  I have yet to attend the mackerel snappers picnic, but by all accounts it is a 'must attend' event.  I do love me some mackerel....

The Conquerall Mills horse/ox pull and variety supper is one of my perennial favourites.  If you love comfort food, this is the supper for you.  All the greatest hits will be there (i.e. swedish meatballs, chop suey, scalloped potatoes, etc.) and more!

What's on this weekend? 5 breakfasts & 1 brunch! Horse/Ox Pull! Variety Supper! Turkey!!!

Well, well, well....how many wells does it take to fill a lake?  Lots going on this weekend, especially for breakfast.  See for yourself!

First horse/ox pull of the season (that I've noticed) in Lake Centre.  Stop by Village Nursery on your way there and pick up some plants, why dont'cha?

Turkey supper in New Germany is usually good, though the last time I went the folks in line were loading up their plates like it was their last meal....stand your ground!

Also, check out Gloria's big, jeezly 'ole yard sale in LaHave on Saturday (next to the post office).  Chances are, it will be hard to miss....

Have a great weeekend, ya'll.
