Greenfield Planked Salmon Supper 2013: July 27

I'm starting to see hits on the blog for the annual Greenfield Planked Salmon Supper...if I recall correctly, it's always on the last Saturday in July.  

I will be shocked if the plate of food doesn't look like this, complete with McDonald's orange 'drink'.

I'm seeing lots of hits on the 'ole blog from folks looking for some info on this year's Greenfield Planked Salmon Supper.


From what I have scraped online, it looks like it is held on the last Saturday in July.  For 2012, that is July 28th.

I've been seeing some hits on the 'ole blog, looking for the date of this year's planked salmon supper in Greenfield.

Looks like it's July 30th, judging by this post on Destination Southwest Nova's site.

Check out my review of this supper, back in 2007. I would be shocked if anything has changed...

The planked salmon supper is worth the drive to Greenfield. While there, stop in the store for some of Chris' delicious German meats and breads!

Woah, almost dropped the ball on this one! This Saturday is the Greenfield Planked Salmon Supper, bwa!?!

Looks like it's going to be a wet one tomorrow, you might have to wait in your car to get seated...also means that you probably won't be able to eat outside down by the river :-(

Check out my review from last year, I'm fairly confident that the menu will not have changed. In fact, if it has, there'll be hell to pay.

Be prepared for a bit of a wait before you get in. The guy in the ticket booth usually makes up for it with funny comments over the bull horn/speaker.

Here's a tip, don't sweat to the oldies inside the hall. Stake your claim to some of the picnic tables across the road in front of the fire hall, and eat beside the relaxing river in the shade as you sip your Mickey Dee's orange drink....ah, bliss.
