Glad to see the 'plaza peelers' are making good use of the speed bumps installed in the Lunenburg Community Centre parking lot.  

Some people see a speed bump, others see a makeshift 'brake stand'. I'm sure they make a lovely smell as they get melted by spinning tiyahs. ;-)

While we're on a bit of a brake burn kick, here's a fresh strip of burnt rubber from 'up home'.

This shot is about as Lunenburg County as it gets...those familiar with the location will understand what I'm talking about.

It's been a long time since I've taken a shot of a brake burn!  For those hankering for a return to the blog's roots, feast your eyes on this strip.

More signs of Spring: Fresh Brake Burns!!

I took a lunch hour drive out Stonehurst way in search of fresh brake burns. As you can see, I was not disappointed with what I found...

Vinegar Hill Brake Burn

I heard the tires squealing from inside the house, ran outside and 'just' missed the burnout in progress....all that remained was a grey cloud of smoke hanging over Vinegar Hill. Shot this shortly thereafter while driving up the hill.

For those hankering for a fresh set of brake burns, look no further. Lots of fresh patches on the roads, this set was laid down on some sand seal road in Union Square.
