More Xmas trees in power poles in Riverport

A slightly blurry shot of the delightful Christmas trees on (in?) the power poles in Riverport. They were a welcome sight every time I returned home.

According to an anonymous commenter, "The trees were placed by the Riverport and District Community Development Committee, with funds donated by local organisations."

Rise and shine

After numerous attempts, I finally snapped a shot of last night's moonrise that wasn't terribly blurry. I'm glad I got a shot of the tree on the pier as well.
