Crescent Beach Clam or Quahog Digging?

I'm not sure if these folks are digging for clams or quahogs....I'm guessing clams, but who knows.  One way or the other, I'm sure they had a tasty feast after this outting!

It is officially summer when...

The Yum Yum bus arrives at Crescent Beach.

Storm's brewin'

This was the beginning of the windy, rainy storm that hit Sunday evening. Luckily I managed to fit in some kite buggying on the beach first!

The message might be getting lost

The sign says 'Please use walkways', though you might miss it. It's getting buried in the dune grass!

Why we buggy

I had a grand old time ripping up and down the beach that day with Travis.

Spotted on the back side of Crescent Beach a couple days ago after a great afternoon of kite buggying on the beach.

A thankless job

Pavers and roofers are a different breed. I don't know how they do it. The smell, the insane heat. At least the clouds rolled in yesterday, hopefully it provided some relief for these guys.

The man in the foreground wasn't too happy with me taking this picture, but as I told him, "ya gotta take the shot!" I tried to not brighten this image too much, just enough so you can begin to see their faces...

On a related note, lots of road work in the Dublin Shore/Crescent Beach area, so leave lots of extra time if you are trying to catch the ferry.

This windsurfer was catching some nice wind on the back side of Crescent Beach yesterday while I was buggying on the beach, what a weekend!

Crescent Beach Kiteboarding

Taken almost a month ago (crazy) by my friend Dave. There was barely enough wind to get me rolling, but when has that stopped me?

He and Heather kindly acted as my 'chase car' since the wind was blowing straight down the beach....having a car to drive me back upwind was basically my dream come true. Oh, and they took photos of me too, double dream come true!
