Poppies are popping!
I'll have to act quickly to capture these blossoms before they are gone for the season.
They are a sea of colour right now, a nice way to be greeted as I come home!

Looks can be deceiving...
Pretty little plant...unless you are an insect and you happen to land on it.
The sundew plant will slowly close its tendrils as it digests its victim.
Carniverous plants, love 'em.

Foxy fox
Spotted by Risser's Beach provincial park on Friday.
It didn't seem to worried by my presence, looked a little ragged and hungry.
I wonder if it lives in the dunes behind the beach?

What's on This Weekend?
Good weekend to get your lobster on in Blue Rocks, call for tickets.
The hot turkey supper in Canaan is always worth the drive, if only to discover 'where' Canaan is!
I haven't tried the Roast Beef supper in Blandford, but their other offerings are usually great.
