Gotta clear out the '10's to make room for the '11's

Spotted this nice stack of firewood last weekend. I love the weathered, grey wood from last year and the fresh look of the recently split and stacked wood beside it.

Spring also means...brake burns!

For those hankering for a fresh set of brake burns, look no further. Lots of fresh patches on the roads, this set was laid down on some sand seal road in Union Square.

I know it's not a big number in the blog-o-sphere, but I did squeal a little when I saw the number!

No shocker here, most are running XP (~32%), followed by OSX (~22%) and Linux TYING Vista and Win 7 users at ~ 13%!!!!

Where are you?

Again, no surprises, most readers are Canadian (~76%), followed by the US (~17%) and the rest have stumbled here from places like the U.K., Japan, United Arab Emirates and Iceland.

Dirt side road navigation

Driving dirt side roads requires a keen eye and an ability to follow the pack.

When in doubt, look for the well worn path the locals take through a rough section. It's often the least pot hole-y path available. This section of road is in Union Square.

Birding: Song Sparrow

I've been having fun with my telephoto and the bird feeder. I'm pretty sure this is a song sparrow, still learning!
