Meanwhile in Lunenburg...

This road is somewhat hidden, it makes for a nice walk at lunch. Nice to have these woods to walk through, always lots of deer hiding out down in the gulley at the bottom of the hill.

Here's a grayscale conversion of the same shot, which one do you prefer?

New school and old school

The Lunenburg Academy can be seen in the distance, while the new high school can be seen in the foreground, under construction.

They have made a lot of progress since I took this picture, more shots to follow...

Mmm, puddin'!

Spotted at the Lunenburg Slave Easy, dropping off a shipment of that delicious Lunenburg Sausage and puddin'. People seem to hate L'burg pudding, but I love the stuff!

I hope people keep painting houses this colour

This house makes me smile. It will be a sad day for me when most houses are painted in historic/colonial colour schemes. Boooring.

Bring back aqua, pink and kelly green house colours! ^_^ Stay tuned for more local examples of fun house colours in the following weeks.

Broad Cove Hall - kitchen detail 2

Another close up shot from the kitchen in the Broad Cove hall. Love those salt shakers! It looks like there's more rice than salt in that plastic one. ^_^
