Flotsam: enabled
Found this big 'ole piece of driftwood on my travels along the shoreline last week.
I wish I had put something in the shot for a better sense of scale. That tire is ~4-5 ft. in diameter, with what looks like a telephone pole in 4 pieces stuck in the middle.
It looks like it is a piece of a wharf, or is it something else? Ring toss for giants perhaps?

Apple Berry Re-Opening: Wood fired bread!
Apple Berry farm market in Bridgewater was bustling with activity Saturday morning, in preparation for their grand re-opening.
Above is a shot of a portable wood fired bread oven, festooned with all manner of local grain products from Speerville Mills in New Brunswick.
Sadly, I was not able to stick around for some fresh baked goodies or the free pork roast, boo'rns!
Check out Apple Berry's excellent selection of 'happy' meats from Meadowbrook Farms (valley), gluten free items from Schoolhouse Gluten-free Gourmet (Martin's River), dairy products from Foxhill Cheese (also from the Valley) and my personal fave: frozen cider from Boates (from the valley, where else?).

The daffodil tea and sale in Petite is a sure thing, I hope they have devilled eggs! The dinners at the Forties hall are usually a good feed, but if you don't want to drive that far, the turkey dinner in Rose Bay is probably a safe bet too.
